The issued Patter of Assistance document pertains to the 12 Delhi government colleges of Delhi University.

The Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) in a statement issued on 18th March said that this move of the Delhi government is wrong. DUTA further raised demands to rescind an order from the finance department that gives senior administrative officers supplementary charge of the 12 Delhi government-funded colleges of Delhi University.

Delhi University holds no such provisions and the Office of the Principal is more than capable and adequate of handling the administrative functioning of all 12 DU colleges, it said.
