CBSE BOARD ISSUES ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR RESULTS

The Central Board Secondary Education, CBSE board is going to release the results of class 10th and 12th students soon. The board will release the result both on Digi portals and the official website.

This year, class 10th and 12th Boards were not held because of the devastating state of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the apex court has given 31st July as the deadline to declare the results of both the classes.

ALTERNATIVE MARKING SCHEME OF CBSE

When the result declares, students can check the result on the official website of CBSE, cbseresults.nic.in. To ensure the safety of students, CBSE Board released an alternative marking scheme. But the board has not given any instructions for the same to the affiliated schools.

EVALUATION OF CBSE BOARD RESULTS

The board has decided has it will consider the marks of previous board exams also. After CBSE will prepare the policy, students have to follow the instructions accordingly. On 1st May, the board said that it will evaluate the results based on unit tests, half-yearly exams, and pre-board exams. It will neither release the merit list nor issue merit certificates.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD GIVEN BY CBSE BOARD

If students do not accept the results, CBSE Board will give them a chance to register online and appear for the exam physically. If the situation allows, the board will conduct the exams of core subjects. At that time, the marks a student scores will be final and no further evaluation would be initiated.
