Guidelines for Admission at NCWEB (Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board), DU

NCWEB established by Delhi University enable women students to study through special coaching and without attending regular classes. Only women students residing in National Capital territory of Delhi can enroll themselves as students of the Board. NCWEB offer Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree from the renowned University of Delhi. NCWEB system provides lectures on Saturday/Sunday and in academic breaks. There are 50 teaching days in a year. At the Undergraduate centers, classes are held from 9.00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are 8 periods in a day. Admission is given on the basis of merit by declaring cut-offs. Students are expected to attend classes regularly as the minimum 66% attendance has been made mandatory to appear for University Examinations, which are held along with the students of regular colleges

Eligibility criteria for DU NCWEB admission 2018:-

For admission in UG course, Candidate must be passed with at least 40% in class 12^th or intermediate from any certified board. Admission is given on the basis of cut off list.

For admission in PG course, candidate must be passed undergraduate form any recognized university with minimum qualifying marks. Admission in PG course is given by two modes- Direct admission or Entrance exam.

How to apply for NCWEB admission 2018:-

• Students can find the application form on official website. After reading given notification carefully, fill the correct details in application form.
• Upload scanned passport size photograph and signature and other documents, if required.
• Pay application fee.
• Click on submit after checking given information once again and download & take a print out of application form for further use.

Documents required at time of NCWEB admission:-

Applicants need to carry all below-given certificates with original and photocopy of it at the time of admission.

• Class 10th Certificate.
• Provisional Certificate of class XII.
• Class 12^th Certificate.
• Character cum Residence Certificate.
• Latest three passport size photograph.
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates if required.
• Transfer/ migration certificate for those who have passed class 12 from outside Delhi.

NCWEB admission process-

Thecut-off list is will be displayed on all its center and NCWEB website. After approval of admission, candidate has to log on to undergraduate admission portal to make online admission fee payment. Further list will be declared depending upon the vacant seats in the college.
